This was the perfect story to wrap up the book since the ending was just right. The sacrifices the characters make for each other are so heartwarming and made me smile. It is a Gift of the Magi retelling, which I have never read before. Melissa de la Cruz’s story was also very enjoyable. I haven’t read any of Aimee Friedman’s books yet, but since her story was so enjoyable, I should definitely check them out! ❀ Melissa de la Cruz will make you smile I loved Maxine’s character and the humour in the story as she figures out her new job. Working in a Winter Wonderland is about a jewish girl working as an elf in a department store. My favourite of the stories was Aimee Friedman’s.
